The Foundations for Success Campaign is a three-year multi-million dollar campaign to not only build a solid foundation under our feet today but a solid foundation for our future. The campaign is two-fold:

Building Fund

ProJeCt is fortunate to have been awarded the federal surplus property at 200 Ferry Street, Easton (the former site of the Social Security Administration). We plan to renovate this building into the first dedicated literacy center in Northampton County.  The building fund will also provide support for the operational expenses of the literacy center for a period of five years. In year six, we project the principle in our endowment fund will be at a level where we can start using the accumulated interest to offset future operational expenses of the literacy center and programs and services of ProJeCt.

Endowment Fund

Strengthening ProJeCt’s endowment will help to ensure the availability of the financial resources we need to meet the challenges in years to come. We know that we cannot continue to rely upon Federal and State funds for long-term sustainability. The income that is earned on the invested principle of the endowment fund will help ProJeCt to continue to provide services to those in need. A gift to ProJeCt’s Endowment Fund is an investment in the future.

GEM Campaign

GEM is ProJeCt’s annual direct mail campaign to help make it possible for the agency to continue to offer emergency assistance and language and literacy services to those in need free-of-charge. The GEM Campaign, which supports annual operating costs, begins just after Thanksgiving and continues through February.

Each member of the community is encouraged to join ProJeCt in helping to ease poverty and address hunger issues in the lives of people throughout the area who face hardship. This winter, make a difference in the lives of others by supporting ProJeCt’s 2008-2009 GEM campaign.
