Movement for Literacy
Saturday, May 20, 2006 1 PM

Easton Yoga will hold a community yoga class at its studio to benefit ProJeCt’s new Literacy Center on Saturday, May 20, 2006.  The 75-minute class will include instruction in basic yoga fundamentals.  Experience the benefits of yoga while learning basic postures, proper alignment, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

There is no cost for the class, but organizers ask that participants make a minimum $10 donation to ProJeCt. Payment can be made by check (made payable to ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.) cash, or credit card. Please visit www.eastonyoga.com for more information.

Opening Night!

Easton’s growing this fall, both educationally and culturally, and you can be part of it!  Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of two new establishments in Easton ~ ProJeCt’s Literacy Center and the Easton Modern and American Art Center.

The Easton Modern and American Art Center opening will highlight pieces from the collection of prominent New Yorker Ted Kheel, featuring works by Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, Nancy Graves and James Terrell.

The evening will include a silent auction, light fare and cocktails.  Ticket sales and silent auction proceeds will benefit ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.  The cost per ticket is $100, a portion of which is tax-deductible.
